Graphing and Hungry Caterpillar Snack

In the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the caterpillar eats through many different fruits, including apples, ortanges, pears, plums, watermelon and strawberries. At this station the children had the chance to sample a piece of each of these fruits. Then they colored the fruit that was their favorite, and put it on a wall-sized graph to indicate the "Favorite fruits of Kindergartners at Hastings". (Strawberries turned out to be the most popular fruit, with watermelon coming in a close second!)
